Jessie blends years of business leadership with a deep love for meaningful travel. Whether hiking in Nepal or wandering through San Miguel de Allende's quiet streets, she’s always been drawn to the slower side of adventure. Ailyak is her vision brought to life—a space where the journey matters just as much as the destination.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Michelle brings together her business expertise and love for travel to help shape Ailyak’s mission. She’s passionate about slowing down, connecting with people, and creating space for meaningful experiences—both on the road and in daily life.
At Ailyak, we believe business should be a force for good. We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Mercado Global, a nonprofit that empowers Indigenous women in Latin America to become entrepreneurs and leaders.
Their mission aligns with our values of thoughtful design, intentional living, and global impact. From artisan textiles to long-term economic opportunity, Mercado’s work inspires us to look beyond borders in how we create and give back.
This collaboration is more than symbolic—it’s personal. We’ve started by gifting Ailyak-branded Mercado travel bags to our beta advisors, and plan to contribute a portion of future revenue to support their work.
